Some Cheaters are so entitled that they treat their spouse as just another option.
This entitlement is supported by teachings regarding infidelity being symptoms of marriage problems. The focus is taken off the Cheater choosing sin over righteousness. It is placed on judging the state of the marriage.
While judging the “state of the marriage,” Cheaters might think this gives them permission to seek other options.
That’s why they cheated… as this lie contends. Something was deficient in the marriage; hence, she “had to” look at other options.
