Today’s post is a departure from the usual subject matter as I was busy today pursuing my other hobby–benching.
I participated in a meet called Relentless today in Shakopee, MN. It is a fundraiser event to help kids with diseases like cancer and their families have hope. In fact, the name of the charity I raised money for is Hope Kids.
So, I got to lift and do some good for this charity. It was a win-win.
My performance wasn’t as good as I would have liked; however, I did not bomb out of this meet. I had one good raw bench press at 363 lbs (165kgs). My coach told me that it was the best press he has seen me do technique-wise. So, I am thankful for that.
