When I was struggling the most, the Psalms and music were my refuge.
I needed the brutal emotional honesty of the Psalmists to see me through the darkness. And I also needed the music to work important truths deep into my soul.
It was not just any music I leaned into, but rather music that reminded me of God’s goodness and faithfulness.
