Be seen.

These are the words I hear Holy Spirit whisper to my spirit for 2024. God is encouraging me to step forward with more boldness in this next year.* It is a little frightening, to be honest.

In particular, I believe God is telling me to become more public with this ministry–Divorce Minister. Be seen.

Chumpalooza was an event that hit home for me. While I absolutely loved meeting everyone and sharing at that event, I was also heartbroken by how few are the voices out there speaking up for Chumps–i.e. faithful spouses–in the church world still.

At the same time, I am moved to tears thinking about my fellow faithful spouses and how much I love you all.

This ministry is a labor of love and a calling. So, this shepherd is willing to endure the slings and arrows to be seen shepherding a much malign group of sheep–i.e. faithful spouses.

As part of taking a step in obedience to what I hear Holy Spirit telling me to do, I have participated in Chump Lady’s podcast: Tell Me How You’re Mighty. We recorded last week, and the episode–I assume–is going through production as I write this. Stay tuned!

We will see what next steps God will ask me to take as I go more public with this part of my ministry and calling. 2024 is shaping up to be an exciting year!
