Be still and know I am God.

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

-Psalm 46:10, KJV

Recently, I attended a conference where we experienced the ministry of the Holy Spirit. It was refreshing and stretching for me.

This verse from the Psalms is a word that came to my mind. It is a challenge for me:

Can I trust God can handle my “problem” better than I can? Can I be still and trust in His lordship?

For those of us who are hardwired to fix our relationships, this is a real challenge. Now, I believe there is a season for action. However, I suspect many of us struggle to embrace the season of waiting when that is what God calls us to do. I know I do.

Remember:

He is God. We are not. He’s got this!
