So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning….

It says things like…
“Your best years are behind you.”
“You will never find happiness again.”
“You will always be financially insecure.”
“No one will ever want you.”
“You will never find a true friend.”
“You will never be a father/mother.”
“Your children will always hate you for divorcing their father/mother.”
“No one will ever listen to you.”
“Everyone will think you are crazy.”
“God does not care what is happening to you.”
So many lies.
Lies on top of the lies sold faithful spouses by their cheating spouses and the wicked cohort. It is quite an onslaught.
I am here to encourage you if you find yourself suffering under this onslaught. Power begins by recognizing that they are lies. Lies designed to put you under the spirit of fear. This spirit is not from God (see 2 Timothy 1:7).
We were not designed to live in fear.
God designed us to live in the embrace of perfect love. His love. This love is the type of love that is SO powerful that it drives away all fears (see I John 4:18).
I do not know where you are at in your journey.
Maybe you are still loosing your wealth like Job waiting for God to allow your health to be taken as well? Maybe you are in the place of Job sitting in the ashes scraping your “boils”? Or maybe God has answered you and is about to turn the table on the wicked giving you justice and blessing?
I do not know.
But I can attest to God as faithful and good.
I testify to my God who took me through my own dark valleys where the fears were large and multitude. Yet I can now look back and echo even now the words found in Job:
So the Lord blessed the latter end of [David] more than his beginning….
