For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.
-Isaiah 61:7, KJV
When we think of some circumstance happening, we can easily gravitate to sudden catastrophes. That is what discovering a cheater was, after all.
That is only half of the equation, though. We know bad things can happen suddenly. That is something we have lived or are living now.
Just as bad things can happen suddenly, God can move suddenly to turn our lives around for our benefit.
-A sudden loss job can turn into a sudden job offer that pays much better than what was lost.
-A sudden loss of a house can turn into a sudden restoration of an even better house at an even better cost than the first.
-A sudden loss of a spouse can turn into a sudden moment when you have met someone far better than your cheater ex-spouse ever was.
You get the picture.
God honors faithfulness. I know as I have experienced this truth. He looks for faithful followers, and He blesses those who seek after Him.
When God moves–as is my experience as well–it can come suddenly in a wonderful way. So, my advice for you is to keep following Him faithfully and buckle your spiritual seat belts…
You never know when God’s blessing-train will take off!!!
