But his mother treasured all these things in her heart.
-Luke 2:51b, NIV
This post is to acknowledge and celebrate all those amazing mothers who come here.
The world is a better place because of your dedication and faithfulness–even and especially–in this world broken by treachery and sin.
Happy Mother’s Day!
I know I am grateful for the mothers in my life:
First, I am thankful for Mrs. DM and her amazing ways with Munchkin. Second, I am thankful for my own mother who stood by me and supported me through the darkest days of my life.
So, on this Mother’s Day, I encourage you to thank those mothers in your life that God has showered blessings through to you. And if you are a mother yourself, I hope you find a way to celebrate your day.
Finally, I want to make a special call out to those single mothers out there–faithful spouses–who are modeling what it means to not tolerate infidelity! You are amazing. Way to go!
