Cheater curses

As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.

-Proverbs 26:2, KJV

Cheaters and their apologists say all sort of cruel and awful things about the faithful spouse.

I would consider these things curses. They are using their mouth to degrade and attack the faithful party. It is wicked.

The good news is such curses lack the power to effect their wickedness.

This is what Proverbs 26:2 teaches us. I find that comforting.

When I was going through my divorce, I remember all sorts of curses hurled at me. They were targeting my professional life and personal life. The funny thing about all of that is ten years removed from that time and both facets of my life are flourishing. Those curses did not “alight” as some translations have it.

Be encouraged:

They may curse you, but that does not mean their curse has any power.
