When Jesus was vulnerable as a baby, we see a battle to end his life and God sending His angels to preserve Him.
God still operates in this way. He sends His angels to preserve His people. Of this, I am convinced.
My career as a pastor had not really started when my first wife walked out on me. I was vulnerable.
God knew this.
I believe to this day that He sent His angels to preserve and protect me in that especially difficult time. In fact, I have a photo evidence of their presence in that season.
If you look closely, you can see orbs of light above my shoulder in this picture. Nothing was wrong with the camera. Yet orbs were all over my bedroom where I slept alone shortly after my first wife left.
I believe they were angels sent by God to strengthen me during this awful time of abandonment and adulterous rejection.
You see, God still sends His angels to preserve His people and purposes. It certainly worked for me.
