I think this verse is especially true of the so called “Christian” cheaters.
They lie to themselves first. Then they lie to others. If you were not the recipient of the harm, you could almost feel pity for these characters who are caught and stuck in their own lies.
These people look at everyone else but themselves for their troubles.
Looking into the moral mirror is not an activity they do. They prefer to blame their faithful spouse or others for the destruction. It is sad.
