Just because your Cheater attends marriage counseling does NOT mean they really want to work on themselves and the marriage.
They might be there to provoke you with a witness. Then they can label you crazy or angry as “justification” for their discard.
Cheaters are not above using therapy or pastoral counseling to manage their image.
Attending alone does NOT mean they are repentant. They might have no interest in engaging in truthful interactions. In fact, they may continue their clandestine affair while attending and running you down in front of the professional!
Yes, Cheaters are that nefarious!
They might bring up something that they know angers you in order to paint you as having an “anger problem” or being “crazy.” It is sick and wicked. But do not be surprised if they do this. It serves their purposes of image management–namely, it makes them look better for discarding you.
