God instructs us to give thanks in all times and all circumstances.
I think this spiritual discipline–as it takes effort–is critical to spiritual well-being. As we open our eyes to His gifts to us, we open our eyes to His love for us. We need that the most when in difficult circumstances, in my opinion.
Today, I can think of many things to give thanks for in my life. One of those is this ministry where I get to help others.
