Even in the midst of great loss and tragedy, I believe it is even more important to give thanks to God.
Satan wants to use the trials and traumas of this life to drive a wedge between us and our loving God. He wants us to believe the lie that God has given us nothing. He wants us to believe God only takes.
The air we breathe is a gift from God.
The beautiful blue sky is a gift from God.

We all have things for which to offer our gratitude to God!
Expressing gratitude to God is an important way to combat the lies of Satan. When we express gratitude to God, we open our hearts to His love and recognize how great His love is for each of us.
This Thanksgiving–and throughout the year–I encourage you to thank God!
