“The Lord your God is with you,
    the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you;
    in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
    but will rejoice over you with singing.”

God does not just tolerate you.

This is one of the important truths revealed in this verse. God has a much higher opinion of you. In fact, God delights and rejoices over you!

Did you hear that?

God rejoices over you!

It is easy to feel worthless and unwanted going through a divorce from a Cheater. Those are common feelings. However, they are lies.

You are wanted.

You are incredibly valuable.

And God delights in you!

This verse from Zephaniah was a verse I particularly appreciated through my own dark days. I hope it ministers to you and breaks the spell of those worth-stealing lies today.

Remember: God’s delight in you moves Him to sing over you with rejoicing! Sounds pretty obsessed–in a good way–to me!
