8 “For I, the Lord, love justice;
I hate robbery and wrongdoing.
In my faithfulness I will reward my people
and make an everlasting covenant with them.”-Isaiah 61:8, NIV
This verse comes just a few verses in the same chapter of Isaiah quoted by Jesus in Luke 4. I think that is significant.
God still loves justice and hates robbery.
He has not changed.
I find that comforting as I think about all that is robbed from faithful spouses. God cares about that. He is not “neutral” about such things as He loves justice.
He sees the injustice and works to right the wrong. That is just who He is. And I am grateful for that.
Today, I can testify to a life that is MUCH fuller in every way than the life I had with my Cheater. I am so thankful for Mrs. DM and Munchkin plus all my bird buddies. God transformed the ashes into something that is truly beautiful.
