Godly obedience? Not a cheater strength.

Jesus answered and said unto him, “If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”

-John 14:23, KJV

Cheaters may profess love of God…

…but their actions say otherwise.

You see, the Christian faith place demands upon how we live our lives. These demands include obeying Christ’s teaching as this verse from John states.

The implication of this verse is that those living in open disobedience–like an unrepentant cheater–does not love God in reality.

Obeying God is not a cheater strength. They sometimes seem to think the commandment prohibiting adultery does not apply to them. But it does!

God expects us to show our love for Him by obeying His teachings.

This is true for cheaters. They need to show it by their actions. Sadly, many won’t. So, that means they do not really love Him. That is what Scripture teaches.
