One common truth about resurrection is how unexpected it looks.

Mary did not expect resurrection on that Resurrection Sunday. She just thought someone had stolen the body of Jesus. And this grieved her.

Resurrection was not expected.

When God breathes life back into our lives, I believe this truth is at work as well. We experience unexpected resurrection. Dreams we thought forever dead get restored… but in ways we had not imagined.

God is still in the business of resurrection today!

He has good things in store for you, His child. Everything might look lost and more–the wicked people might seem determined to gloat in their “victory”–but take heart.
