The Lord works righteousness
and justice for all the oppressed.
-Psalm 103:6, NIV
As I sat in church this morning, this verse jumped out to me. It is speaking about the character of God.
He both sees the oppressed and works to set things right for them.
There is so much injustice in situations with infidelity! The loss of resources, health, and finances are just a few spheres where these injustices abound.
Yet I serve God who sees injustice and works to set things right!
I find that a comforting thought. Today, I may feel oppressed and suffering injustice. However, that is not lost on God. He sees and one who sets things right.
This is something I can attest to in my life. God does more than just restore. He multiplies blessings! On this side of my divorce, I have seen so many blessings beyond what I could have imagined.
