32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
-John 8:32, KJV
When you have a firm grasp on the truth, the lies have no opening to penetrate and shake you.
I know this is easier said than done. When you have had the trauma of learning of infidelity, you are especially vulnerable to the lies and disoriented by that sucker punch.
This is why good friends are so important.
They can help strengthen you in the truth reminding you that you are not crazy and what happened, happened.
The truth leads to freedom. A cheater will say some awful things. Sometimes, those things are attacks on your character. Holding on the truth, you can weather those attacks anchored in the truth of your valuable identity knowing it’s not about you. The cheater can’t handle facing the mirror.
You get to choose what you believe. I hope you choose the truth and let it free you, today!
