Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
-Hebrews 11:1, NIV
Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.
-I Corinthians 13:13, NLT
When going through the darkness, faith in God’s goodness is important. This faith is an act of the will during this time.
We choose to believe God loves us and is good during a time when it feels otherwise.
If it was seen, we would not need faith.
So, this is hard. But I believe as we flex our faith muscle it becomes easier and easier. We tune our hearts to see God’s love for us. Our gratitude opens our hearts to God’s great and generous heart towards us.
As we experience God’s love, our hope will grow. We will find ourselves believing in better days ahead.
The Enemy wants us to despair and curse God. Yet God stands ready to receive us–our anger over the injustices and all!
