I am a sucker for getting pets.
We got another parrot shortly after our wedding anniversary. That brings our “flock” to three.*
The latest is a talkative Jardine parrot. He is very beautiful and funny when he talks. An example is when he says, “Ooops” if his claws slip while walking on the newspaper.
I love the love of pets.
They are so transparent in their like and dislikes. As I have heard some say,
“They are true to their natures.”
Their love is such a gift. And I am grateful for three new creatures in our lives who are generous in their love for us.

*We now have five parrots in our flock. Loki, the Jardine, is my special buddy. Mrs. DM says he starts whistling and gets excited when he knows I am about to come home. In fact, he jumps me as soon as I get into the entry way. Loki really is a dog with wings. I love my pumpkin head (parrot with orange feathers on his head)!
