When a marriage ends, we need a space where we can be honest with our pain. Often times, that includes “the ugly cry.”
I encourage you all to find a place where you can honestly share your heart without being judged.
Maybe that is with a good friend? Maybe that is with a good therapist? Maybe that is with a solid pastor? Maybe it is with a divorce recovery group leader?
A song that talks about walking through the grief with honestly recently came across my feed. I find it a real tear-jerker.
The song is about the loss of someone to death; but it speaks truth about healing from grief in general. Its message is just as true for those going through the death of a relationship.
