Ninth Anniverary Today!

Today is our wedding anniversary. Nine years married.

It is hard to think we are almost at a decade. The time has flown. It feels like yesterday that we were smiling at each other and saying our vows on my in-laws’ back porch.

I am so grateful for Ms. Fiestypants–Mrs. DM. She brings me so much joy and is a wonderful friend. I thank God that I have her and Munchkin in my life.

They took the sad walls of my heart and filled them with laughter, again.

Today, I want to encourage the reader who thinks it they have no future. Please do not give into all the fear-mongering about second (or more) marriages. They CAN be very successful! You do NOT have to tolerate the cheating abuse. A bright future can be yours.*

Like me, you can experienced an even greater and more blessed life after the season of your infidelity ravaged marriage.

So the Lord blessed Job in the second half of his life even more than in the beginning.

-Job 42:12a, NLT

*God may or may not have another partner for you. Having a more fruitful and fulfilling life after divorcing a cheater does not necessary mean remarrying. That said, I suspect most of us will remarry, and I want to encourage those who fear this.
