Thou shalt not commit adultery.
-Exodus 20:14, KJV
With the way faithful spouses are handled after adultery discovery, you would think this verse from the Ten Commandments said something different.
“Thou shalt not commit adultery” [UNLESS]…
…you have a difficult marriage.
…you are not getting “enough” sex.
…your spouse isn’t connecting with you emotionally like you want.
…[fill in your “favorite” Cheater excuse]
The fact is the Bible does NOT have the UNLESS in the text. It is simply a command prohibiting committing adultery.
God is not fooled by the games humans play to “justify” their sin. His word cuts the heart of the issue. Did they keep or break His commandment as written?
