His wife said, “Still holding on to your precious integrity, are you? Curse God and be done with it!”

When the calamity of infidelity discovery strikes, we have two option:
1) Allow the sins of “man” drive us away from God with a curse.
Or
2) Run to God as our only sure source of strength.
It is not easy to trust God in this moment. We all have moments of doubt. I know I did. That is why faith is needed.
Faith isn’t easy.
I think that is why people who have experienced deep suffering and retained their faith in God are such valuable wells of wisdom for the Church. They walked a path where faith was not academic but necessary for their survival, literally.
It is sad the Church drives such people away when those seasons of suffering have to do with adultery discovery and divorce. The Church needs these people. It is an authentic fire-tested faith.
