Working on the Divorce Minister book...

Work has commenced in producing a book form of this blog.

I have tentatively entitled the project:

Taking Adultery Seriously:
The Divorce Minister Guide To Surviving Infidelity

Since I have a full-time job that pays the bills and an active young family, please be patient with me as I work on the manuscript for this project. The time has come, though, for me to share the ideas I share here on the blog in book form.

Currently, I am about 25 pages into a rough manuscript that I am anticipating will top out at a little over a hundred pages. My plan is to keep it under the 150 page mark, though.

This is not a exegetical work.

While I certainly use biblical texts, my goal in producing this book is to engage in the much needed pastoral care conversation on the matter of adultery, infidelity, abandonment, and divorce among Christians.

The heart of this book is dealing with destructive readings and applications of texts regarding divorce in the Bible as well as unpacking spiritual truths about adultery and surviving infidelity.
