29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
-Matthew 10:29-31, KJV
God treasures us.
This is what we ought to learn from Jesus’ words in Matthew 10:29-31. The value God places on us is very, very high.
Just as we treat our pets–that we value greatly–with much care, God values us even more than we value them. Of course, God will take care of us!
Do you think we take better care of our pets than God does of us?
I am sure we all have times when we think we are alone. Sometimes we may feel like an abused animal. Yet, I want to encourage you that these are the times to lay hold of God’s promises and flex your faith muscle.
God has promised us that He values us greatly (see above).
We may not see it in all circumstances. However, that is why we are called to live by faith and not sight (2 Cor. 5:7).
