When I was driving one day listening to some worship music, I was struck with this thought:
The most important judgment about me has already been passed, and I am eternally safe in God’s love.
Whatever challenges I might face during the day, I find and found this thought extremely comforting. I am not worrying about my eternal destiny because I know Love has already spoken clearly about me.
My home is with Love eternally.
This makes facing the capricious judgment of other humans more bearable. They might think or say negative or hurtful things about me. However, I know the most important verdict on my life is never going to change. I can cling to it (and Him).
Yes, the judgment of others will still be unpleasant. However, they are drained of some of their power keeping this truth in mind.
