God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
…
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
-Psalm 46:1-3, 10-11, KJV
I just did a post about a question a Christian TV show got from a viewer who says his or her church has a new preacher says divorced people are no longer welcome at his church and ones already divorced will be kicked out (or, have their membership removed, which I take it means they are no longer welcome).
I blogged about it here (with video from the TV show embedded):

Yeah, that is truly crazy, but I am sadly not terribly surprised a preacher took that extreme and unbiblical position. Obviously, that is not a church or a position I would endorse as following Christ. Thanks for sharing!
