Did your Cheater ask you how you would like the divorce papers served?

If they did, don’t be surprised that they ignore your answer and do the opposite. Of course, the question isn’t designed to take your wishes into account. Cheaters are simply trying to inflict greatest amount of pain (or they simply have grown accustomed to only listening to their own wishes).

Asking in front of a counselor or pastor is simply another way they are trying to manage their image. It makes them look compassionate to some degree to ask. That said, it is cruel.

Once divorced, be grateful to be free from such a mean and selfish person!
