Discouraged. Depressed. Ready to quit the call.

These are how I felt these last couple of days until I encountered God last night in church.

God has a way of sending His people in key times in my life.

These dear brothers and sisters in the Lord speak forth the heart of our good Father. Their words–prophetic words, if you will–have been like a fresh spring of water in a blistering, dry desert.

Jesus knows when His friends and followers need a word or two of encouragement. He knew that was me last night. And He sent his “ravens.“

One of the words shared last night was a word I want to share with you all here. It is a word faithful spouses need to hear. We all can use a boost after such awful rejection.

Matt talked about my belief in God and God’s good, faithful character. He then reminded me:

“God believes in you far more than you believe in Him.”

This was just want I needed to hear. In a season of ongoing job hunting, I needed to be reminded that the One who matters believes in me. He is not disappointed or sad He got me.

Maybe today you needed that reminder just as much as I?

God believes in you far more than you believe in Him.

It is yours.

God does believe in you. You are precious in His sight. When God looks at you, He sees a real prize. Never forget that!
