It’s my birthday!

Another year and another birthday for me.

So glad that I did not give into the despair four years ago! Life is too precious to allow a cheater and cohorts the power to have the last say on its value. God’s opinion matters more than theirs.

Today, I am enjoying life at the top of my profession as a department head and loving my beautiful family. Life is truly very good. I am one blessed man!

After I finish up my work week tomorrow, I probably will celebrate by grabbing a movie or two. Pumping some iron? Or maybe I will cloister myself off on Friday at a coffee shop to spend time with my thoughts and God’s gift to mankind–aka drinkable black gold. All the above? Dunno. 

Whatever happens, I am thankful for another year of life. And I will testify to my God’s ridiculous generosity. He has given me the best in Mrs. DM and Munchkin. Then added measure upon measure of further gifts including the incredible and meaningful gifts of getting to minister to people through this blog.

So thankful for 30-some years of life!
