As I get edits back on my book manuscript, I have decided to change its title.
When I started Divorce Minister, I created this blog ministry specifically to be a space where people could come to receive pastoral care from a pastor who could relate to the pain of infidelity discovery, abandonment, and divorce. I knew precious few places existed for faithful spouses to find such spiritual healing.
My heart was to create a community safe for faithful spouses to both experience God’s love and His holy anger towards the abusers in their lives–i.e. cheaters and other accusers. This is why I am changing up the title for my book.
It is now:

The Divorce Minister Guide for Surviving Infidelity and Keeping Your Faith

Will the book be available directly from you or will it be in stores ? Do you have an idea of approximately when it will be available for purchase ? I have read Chump Lady’s book and also the 2 books on abandonment by Vikki Stark (“Runaway Husbands” (even though I am a man being abandoned by my wife, many of the behaviors are common to all cheaters) and also “Planet Heartbreak” – 62 testimonies of spousal abandonment. All different, but all so very much the same. Same phrases, same devaluement of the faithful spouse and their love story, same morphing into an unrecognizable cold-hearted alien). All of which were very helpful and validating. But I am looking forward to yours which I expect will have a distinctly Christian perspective. God bless and keep up the good work. Your validations and encouragements are cool water to many thirsty grieving souls.
I am going to release it through Amazon’s marketplace. Of course, it will be promoted here as well. The options for the first 90 days will be either an eBook through Kindle or a paperback ordered through Amazon’s Print-On-Demand service. My hope is to have the book out by no later than the end of this September!
