Their Double Lives

One of the major reasons why divorce is the best of bad options left to faithful spouses is the magnitude of the sins committed by Cheaters.

Double lives denote a lifestyle of lying and deception that has become a habit. They are not a bug but a feature of who the Cheater is.

How long has the double life been going on?!

This is the haunting question faithful spouses are left with as we try to make sense of our marital history that has been rocked with such wicked revelations. Plus, we are stuck in a bad place where we shouldn’t trust the one person who knows the answers as liars lie. It sucks.

In the end, the best we can do is draw the line, grieve not knowing, and move on from the marriage to said Cheater.

We will probably never know the full extent of the wicked ways of our Cheater. In fact, God might prevent us from knowing as a mercy. It is bad enough what is known.
